Allergy has also been reported wherein hives and rashes appeared without any explanation and the skin was also observed as being inflamed at several spots all over the body without any apparent reason. Decreased count of white blood cells causes lowering of immunity and this in turn renders the person more susceptible to all kinds of contagions, thus increasing possibility of illness.

Hence, it could be treated as an option to speed up the process of weight loss but ultimately should be discontinued and replaced with a healthy lifestyle. Qsymia is definitely not recommended for long-term use and should be resorted to for a short period of time only when there is no other option.
